If you are starting to get worried about wrinkles, why not opt for anti wrinkle patches? With over the counter topical skin care creams and lotions, you may develop allergies and the results may not be satisfactory and immediate as you would get from proven anti-aging skin care patches.

Anti Wrinkle Patches - What Are They?

What is an anti wrinkle patch? It is an alternative wrinkle solution for those who want to remove lines and wrinkles on their face, especially for skin under the eyes. There are generally two types of patches used to remove wrinkles - trans-dermal or intra-dermal patches.

Trans-dermal wrinkle patches require the user to wear the anti-wrinkle skin care patches for 6 to 8 hours or even overnight to get satisfactory results. Trans-dermal wrinkle patches work by slowly delivering the anti-wrinkle ingredients over time into the bloodstream then to the selected target, like wrinkles under the eyes. Intra-dermal wrinkle patches works faster. Intra-dermal patches work by delivering the anti-wrinkle ingredients directly and immediately into the deep layers of the skin from 45 minutes to an hour.

Both trans-dermal and intra-dermal wrinkle patches use anti-oxidants Vitamins C and E. Vitamin C and E are proven effective in repairing sun damage. Long exposure under the sun hastens skin aging and setting in of wrinkles. The other ingredients in these wrinkle patches (depending on the manufacturer) are collagen, Vitamin A, cellular messengers, sodium PCA (a moisture retention compound found in the skin), other botanical substances and nutrients. The combined vitamins and nutrients repair damaged skin tissues.

Anti-aging wrinkle patches are applied under the eyes, around the mouth, on the throat or any part of the face where lines and wrinkles appear.
