Lotions - Not All are Created Equal
A facial lotion includes products that help you fight acne and wrinkles (also known as age-defying lotion products). Others are especially formulated for the to protect the area around your eyes or your skin in general against the sun. Facial lotion products come in different formulations from very thick to light lotion to lotion that is oil free.
Body Lotion Products of Skin Moisturizers – Lotion products for your body are similar to facial lotion products but are usually stronger since your body is not as sensitive as your face. However, unlike a facial lotion, a body lotion is often made with different scents.
Hand and Nail Lotion – Lotion for your hands and nails are usually made to help protect your hands from becoming too dry. In fact, a 'lotion' is now found in many dishwashing detergents for those who wash dishes often. This kind of lotion also comes in antibacterial formulas. Hand and nail lotion products are also used to prevent nail splitting, chipping, or breaking.
Foot Lotion – Lotion for your feet is usually used to keep them odor-free. However, foot skin moisturizers are also used for refreshing tired and aching feet. The most popular scent for foot lotion is peppermint, although it comes in other scents as well.
