Skin Care Tip 200:

Skin Types Differ from One Another

Skin types become apparent after puberty. Before puberty, the skin type of most individuals is normal. However, the hormonal changes that happen during puberty greatly influence the type of skin you will have as you age. Though some people maintain normal skin after puberty, others may develop oily skin, dry skin or combination skin.

Knowing your particular skin type will help you determine the best skincare regimen and products to apply. Do consult a dermatologist if your skin requires special attention; i.e., if you have acne or bacne a lot or are susceptible to skin ailments. This will ensure that you follow the correct skincare regiment for your skin type.
